Daytona Airshow October 9, 2010 is the one amazing show I seen here in United State of Florida. The show was a breath taking to all viewer. It was my first time to watch it and I really can't believed the terrific performance I seen. Every time I heard the noise when they ups side down jets coming on the way, my stomach was circling and getting excited to seen the smoking performance. I really amazed it and knocking in my head how the US Military Air Force pilot can do it with out any crushing happened it makes people impressive.
The Navy’s premier fighter, the F-18 Super Hornet, will roar over the Dayton skies to the delight of air show spectators. A larger and more advanced version of the F-18 Hornet, the Super Hornet is a carrier-based strike fighter that is operationally active in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Entering service with the US Navy in 1999, the Super Hornet replaced the F-14 Tomcat in 2006 and continues to serve alongside the Hornet in the Navy’s fleet. Informally known as the “Rhino”, the F-18 Super Hornet in Dayton will be flown by Lt. Thomas “Dieter” Bunker and Lt. Matt “Koko” Nieswand. The East Coast Super Hornet Demonstration Team, of Strike Fighter Squadron 106, the “Gladiators” is based at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia.
Skyraider 135188, flying at this year’s Vectren Dayton Air Show, served with the U.S. Navy from 1955 until it was retired from active service in 1970. During this time frame, the aircraft was stationed at the Naval Air Station at North Island, San Diego, California, Lemoore, California, for ‘Spad Training School’ and also at Naval Air Station Quonset Point, Rhode Island.
The show was not only an entertainment to all viewers it is showing the skills of all air fighters also to protect the Country and achieved the freedom. It was good to have a chance to seen that show because it makes me to remember the world war II and how American conquer the war and win the PEACE and FREEDOM not only for their Country but many more different country needing their help. I am so proud about it and makes me to be proud more to seen them perform in front of many people. The formation they did was so spectacular and magnificent to show the Victories for the nation to fight for freedom and peace. I always admire to all Military forces to be a Heroes of many Countries.
